Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and address risks associated with a product or system of work, and develop and implement risk control measures to ensure workplace safety.The unit applies to individuals who are technicians or specialists working with a systematic approach for health and safety with access to work health and safety specialist advice. Work typically involves addressing risk to ensure their own safety, as well as that of others who may be affected by their work.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, in accordance with State/Territory work health and safety, and food safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
